Chief Operator Darrel Noisette accepted the top honors award on
November 14, 2007 during the SC Rural Water Association
conference in Myrtle Beach, SC.
This prestigious industry
award identifies Sullivan’s Island as South Carolina’s best of
the best in the small wastewater treatment system category
(Category #1 less than 1,000 taps). This news comes as no
surprise to the approximately 2,000 Island residents who benefit
from the top-notch services provided by the small five-member
team of dedicated wastewater service professionals. Upgrading a
space-limited wastewater treatment facility on a barrier island
presents unique challenges. Our continued success is attributed
to the staff’s commitment to excellence and the continued
support of Town Council and Island residents.
