Sand Dunes Club Pool

The Sand Dunes Club, located at 1735 Atlantic Street, is owned by the employees of South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G/SCANA).  Historically SCANA/SCE&G employees have graciously extended an invitation for Sullivan's Island residents to use their pool.   Pool entrance requires a Town issued photo Pool Pass (more information below).

Special Note  Pool will be closed to Island residents on the following dates/times:

June 22nd & 24th (Wed & Fri) from 6:00PM-7:00PM

July 13th & 15th (Wed & Fri) from 6:00PM-7:00PM

SCANA has arranged special activities for its members during these dates and times.  Thank you for your cooperation.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS 

Sand Dunes charges $2.00/person per day (to offset SCANA expenses).

Residents must have a Town Hall issued pool pass to access the pool.

POOL PASS INFORMATION:

Cost:  Free; issued by Town Hall only from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Town Hall will be at its temporary location on Monday, June 6th:  2050-B Middle Street (behind the Fire Station)

Easily update last year's photo pass - Town will put a 2011 sticker on your current pass.

To obtain photo ID pool pass, you must provide to Town Hall Staff:

• Proof of residency (i.e. driver's license)

• Complete/sign release of liability documents in person at Town Hall

• Children 13 years and older may obtain their own pass when accompanied by
  parent or guardian to sign release of liability.

• If you have a pool pass from last year, Town Hall will place a 2010 sticker on it.

• Town Hall must have a minimum of 48 hours to prepare new pool passes.

• Please do not come in on your way to the pool.

NOTES: 

• All pool guests will be expected to follow rules established by SCANA/SCE&G and other directions from their lifeguards on duty.  

• SCANA/SCE&G has voluntarily extended an invitiation for residents to use the pool only, not the amenity center/club house. 

• The Town provides no compensation to SCANA/SCE&G for this courtesy and has no control over their admittance policy and pool hours.
