FLOOD PLAIN MANAGEMENT
Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Town of Sullivan's Island has adopted mitigation strategies for all hazards that potentially impact the Town, including flooding.  These strategies have been incorporated into the Charleston Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan, which is being updated on July 8, 2014.  The Plan shows the areas of possible flooding as well as proposed strategies to reduce the flood threat.  The  Charleston Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan is available for review at the Town Hall or online at http://www.charlestoncounty.org/departments/BuildingInspections/HazardPlan/HazPlan.htm .
