Position is responsible for service work, protecting lifeand property through enforcement of related laws and ordinances. The successful candidate will be a highlymotivated team player with outstanding problem solving skills. Minimum requirements: Graduation from highschool or GED equivalency, 21 years, possession of a valid driver’s license,and ability to pass a thorough background investigation, drug screening andpre-employment physical examination. SCCriminal Justice Certification and experience as a Police Officer ispreferred.

The Town has a staff of approximately 40 full-time and regular part-time employees. The Town traditionally hires temporary staff to assist with beach patrol and maintenance in the summer.
