GENERAL ADMINISTRATION CLERK
The Town of Sullivan’s Island seeks to hire a GeneralAdministration Clerk located within the General Administration Department, TownHall. This position will be on a temporary basis, working a full-time work week. The position will begin in early November 2014 for a duration of approximately four (4) months.
Responsibilities include providing primary customer service to Town Hall visitors, fielding incoming telephone calls, managing water and sewer customer requests and inquiries, assisting with the issuance of various Town permits and licenses and other general administration duties as assigned.
The qualified candidate will have good computer skills in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn proprietary Town software; be a professional, self-starter with strong customer service skills. Previous experience with water and sewer agencies and municipal government is highly desired, but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
