Photos compliments of Wendy Mogul, Angel Photography The Sullivan's Island Bicycle Committee is a community based organization whose mission is to promote bicycling on Sullivan's Island through education, community outreach and bicycle friendly initiatives. The Bicycle Committee continues progress toward the goal of having Sullivan's Island earn the "National Bicycle Friendly Community" designation from the Leauge of American Bicyclists. Ward Lassoe (first Committee Chair) worked with Council member Mary Jane Watson (Recreation Committee Chair 2010), Staff members and supportive residents to launch this Committee in March 2010.
